One of the first things we did as we began to learn about Java was to create our own library of Java books. Collections.binarySearch() searches the specified list for the specified object using the binary search algorithm. This is a fantastic implementation of the Collections API. Every member of the development team was given the chance (and funding) to build their own collection of books. I was referring to the Collections API to convert a list to array. We're ready for Java 8′s Collections API enhancements. So we tend to think we've seen it all, when it comes to the Java Collections API. We know our ways around Lists, Sets, Maps, Iterables, Iterators. Collection simply means a single unit of objects. Here you will learn what collections are and how they can make your job easier and programs better. When dealing with just two collections, it's not a difficult problem, but not all developers are familiar with all the methods that java.util.Collection defines, so here is some sample code. I was shocked to find that the method was generic. Example: package javaapplication1; import java.util.ArrayList; import java.util. This chapter describes the Java Collections Framework. Great to see as a inherent part of Java 7. I will describe one tip, that I use for simpify working with java collections. Collection framework provides many interfaces (Set, List, Queue, Deque etc.) and classes (ArrayList, Vector, LinkedList, PriorityQueue, HashSet, LinkedHashSet, TreeSet etc). Today i read article about google collections my post is simple addition to it. Probably some java enthusiast can answer this question for me.
